Hey guys,

My name is Alyssa and I'm the owner and designer of Love Lettering by Long. I've been married five years to my husband Micah. Micah might be the most important person behind LLbL. He is not only my best friend but my biggest supporter and encourager.

​I know for a fact I wouldn't be where I am today without this handsome guy pushing me along.

Micah and I met in college and married when we graduated.

​We don't have any kiddos yet but we do have one spoiled Border Collie named Mr. Bingley. 

When I don't have a brush in my hand you can usually find me binging Netflix and cuddling with my puppy. In our free time we love traveling and being outdoors. 

​Love Lettering by Long was born at our dining room table. After much encouragement from my friends and family I opened my Etsy shop doors to the public. I've been creating and selling art since March of 2016, but I've been cultivating my love for the craft since I was a kid. 

Love Lettering by Long as since grown into a small business that I have the pleasure of running from our little home in Montgomery. 
I enjoy what I do so much, but most of all I love the freedom my work gives me to focus on what is truly important in life: family. 

I believe in challenging yourself. If you aren't moving forward you might as well be moving backwards. I also believe in the power of encouragement. What better way to lift yourself up that to surround yourself with positivity? Whether that be an encouraging quote or a challenging passage of scripture I challenge you to meditate daily on positive thoughts that push you forward.

God's word has the power to change us and positive thinking pushes us forward. My goal is to create artwork that both challenges and encourages you on a daily basis. I hope you can find something here that makes your day beautiful.
